A dancefloor can be a scary place. All those people trying
to get you to boogie them down. Not always keeping your
vibe in mind. Find some scenesters not caught up in the
scene to help you out!
After a hard night of the electric bodyrock - it is best
to have a good group of friends or friend to turn to.
Having this support system will make you feel better about
being a hustler - and hopefully they are willing to listen
to the challenges youface on the floor.

Some
people still see hustlers as a threat to the American way
when the American way was built on hustlers - people who
got their groove on and got paid for it. Here are some tips
to keep the dance captains from breaking your chops:
1. You are being paid for your time, not a service.
2. They don't have to tell you they are a cop if you ask.
3. Soliciting is illegal - let clients come to you.
Other helpful things
include having a lawyer you can contact, a trusted pal to
help - and to always stay cautious. Even online! |

Reaching
some good dance partners isn't always easy. Here are the
places to go…
Newspapers: Gay publications have classifieds
for escorts and bodyworkers. Effective.
Online: There are many Internet contact
methods from chatrooms to sites devoted to quality hustlers.
The Street: Not a common method anymore
and not as safe.
Hustling Agencies: A mixed bag and some
can abuse your talents. Many also take a substantial percentage
of your fee.

When
you hustle, be aware that your interests are not always
the same as those of your partner. In both easy-to-spot
and other ways, your client may try and break your secret
hustling pact.
Here are some things to think about with your
client:
Remember to let the client know the
rules up front.
Always be aware of exits.
Leave some notation as to where you are going on paper
or through a person that's part of your support system.
Things to think about when meeting
your client:
Is the location safe?
Do I feel comfortable with this person?
Have we agreed upon the times, interests, and methods
of payment?
Have we established that I have the right to stop at
any time I feel uncomfortable?
Do I have an escape route?
What can I do to make this a regular client and still
be true to my secret pact?
Have I come to the client sober and ready to make good
decisions about my dancing?

Don't go spending it all in one place. You
just got this loot - and it is easy to start the party
trip. If you joined the hustler community to raise money
for a project, expense, or need - remember to put that
money toward it.
Also, save some aside for the IRS - so you don't start dancing the 'bitch' in prison. You can wreck your head figuring out what to do with your new found success as a 'hustler extraordinaire'…and you should take time to enjoy your new income. Take breaks often. Schedule your dance partners out so you can have nights off.
Enjoy your fun. Don't overwork and burn out. Be good to yourself, stud! |
