Sitcom Dad

By Jayson Marston, Los Angeles

Being for hire can put you in many weird situations, specializing in S/M and edge play puts me in many different and bizarre situations. Living in Hollywood, you never know who is going to walk through your door. I have seen sitcom dads, studio presidents and other high profile men. Two times I was flat out shocked by the men who were hiring me.

The first time was a sitcom dad. He was an actor on a popular show when I was young. He was looking for a very severe situation. We did everything from textbook domination scenes to more intense edge play using play piercing, electricity and fire play. You can only imagine how odd it is to be using scalpels and floggers on a man I used to watch on television as a kid. He would often be recognized out in public with me and it was just a matter of time before the tabloids came knocking. I received a phone call when he got into some trouble with the law; nothing like the good old tabloids kicking you when you are down. I was offered a large amount of money for the story of him being a closeted and married actor. When they realized the specialty services I offered, the price they wanted to pay me was outright obscene. I admithat I was tempted. I thought it over and decided to not sell the story. I often wonder what they would have paid me had I offered them the Polaroids I own and the information of his abuse of crack. This man never did anything wrong to me and was in fact very generous. I would have loved to have that money to pay off old school loans, buy a car and many other things, but the guilt would have been too expensive to get rid of.

Yes, I was tempted to sell the story and my friends were split down the middle as to what I should do. The people against me selling it weren’t in my situation of outstanding school loans, the need for money to go back to school, lack of a car and a computer that wasn’t much more than a hamster spinning a fan in a gray box. I could have a lot of things but I would have also possibly ruined a man’s life and forever been know as that guy who was in the tabloids for being paid to have is boots licked by this actor. There are days when I wish I had that money but in the end peace of mind is better than a big check. My student loan collectors, however, don’t feel the same way.
